How do I embed the MEMRI widget in my web page?

Directly below the widget is a small tab that says “Get & Share”. If you click this a window pops up within the widget with a number of shortcuts for ways to embed the widget on your favorite webpage or blog.

How do I download the MEMRI widget to my desktop?

If you are running Windows Vista or Mac OSX 10.4 or later, simply click on the associated icon for each of these services. If you are running Windows XP, you will need to download the Yahoo! widgets program (http://widgets.yahoo.com/download/) and then click on the Yahoo! Widgets icon to download the widget.

Once downloaded, the MEMRI widget can be accessed through your computer's Task Bar (located at the bottom right of your screen) or from the widget dock (located on the right edge of your screen by default) and can even be set to open automatically when your computer starts up. Can I view the MEMRI widget outside of a webpage?

Yes, if you are running Windows Vista or Mac OSX 10.4 or later, just click on the corresponding icons under the "Get & Share" tab. Yes, you can download the MEMRI Widget to any computer running Windows Vista.

Which Operating Systems (OS) are currently supported by the MEMRI widget?

The web-based version of the MEMRI widget will work on any computer with an internet connection and Flash Player 8 or newer installed (download new version here).

To download the desktop version, you will need to have the Yahoo! Widgets program (http://widgets.yahoo.com/download/) or have Windows Vista or Mac OSX 10.4 or later.

What internet browsers support the viewing of widgets?

As long as your internet browser is running Flash Player (version 8 or newer) and you have an active connection to the internet (broadband speed is recommended for streaming video content), you can view the MEMRI widget.
